Hi Ryan! Thank you so much for your feedback. I am the one you spoke with, Ryan. What I always want to communicate to people who call us asking about prices for repair work is that you can always call around and find a "cheaper" price. You can call around until someone quotes you a number that you can live with. The reality is that the difference between a phone quote and the actual cost of the repair work is 30%, that's an industry average. That should tell you everything you need to know about the accuracy of phone quotes. Also, doing estimates is time consuming. We want to look after the clients that we have in our shop that day. Spending time doing phone quotes takes away from the time we should be spending on our current clients vehicles. They are our priority each and every day. The truth is that every shop has a different commitment to the quality of parts they use and the expertise of their technicians. This is why almost all of our repairs come with a 3 Year / 60000km Warranty that can be honored nationwide in both Canada and the U.S.A. Some of our parts even come with a lifetime warranty. My number one concern is your safety and doing the job right and that means seeing your vehicle in our shop, that's the only real way that we - or any other shop - can give you an accurate quote. Any shop that gives you a quote over the phone is guessing, and we don't guess, we test and evaluate and repair. We want to make sure you are safe and that we do the work right. You deserve that approach, Ryan. Thank you again for your call and for your feedback. Rob Scott Owner, Glenwood Auto Service
