They described the front callipers were seized. Took the brakes off myself and could push the pistons back with my hand, as they were not seized one bit. There was no sign of them even taking my callipers off to check if seized. Checked over the truck with a certified mechanic and it was untrue all the work needed and the pricing was $1000 more than any other shop to do brakes.
Rhys, I am not sure of the reason for the 1 Star Review. I understand we gave you some news on your vehicle that you likely did not want to hear, and we made you sign a disclaimer that the vehicle is unsafe to drive for both you and other people who share the road with you. The front brakes are metal on metal, and the brake calipers are seized. Also the drivers rear axle seal is leaking very badly and have contaminated the rear brake shoes. The park brake is seized as well. Your truck unfortunately needs a lot of work done to make it safe. Regular inspection and maintenance in the future will help identify these issues before your vehicle becomes unsafe for you and others including pedestrians. If I had the authority to pull your vehicle off of the road I would have done that, but unfortunately I do not have the authority to do that. I don't care who fixes your truck, it just needs to be repaired so it can be safe for you and others you share the road with.
