I went to Glenwood for an out-of-province inspection on an 11 year old Saab 9-3. There was only one thing that failed mechanically, a twisted brake hose that had been improperly installed (not surprising as I found receipts for aftermarket brakes from a previous owner, but no corresponding labour bill so I suspect owner replaced brakes himself). It also needed a wheel alignment and the window tint had to be removed from my front windows. I said I would remove the window tint myself and there was absolutely no pressure from them to have them do that work. There was no attempt to run up the bill as I have experienced at times from other shops. They were also quite trusting as I had only just moved to Saskatoon and they let me have the car back for a few days to remove the window tint and wait for the brake hose to come in without having me pay for the inspection first. They just said to pay everything at once when I came back to have the brake hose replaced and the wheel alignment done. I also used the shuttle service and George was a very good and cordial driver.
