I’ve been a customer for about 7ish years, taking 3 different vehicles of mine here. I’ve had a few “tuffs” over the past few years usually regarding price and/or disagreements with invoices. After my recent visit to Glenwood, I won’t ever be back. This week I booked my truck in because my 4wd was stuck on in auto. I also needed a new battery as I had to boost my truck the last couple days. I was told I’m at 220 just for the diagnostic (I agreed, fully knowing it’s a steep price). Anyways- I get a call that they scanned my codes, cleared them and my transfer case was switching just fine. They recommended “re-programming the transfer case control module”, and gave me a quote of 250 for same. Whatever. I also got quoted 371 dollars to replace the battery including the 0.8 hours labour?? Crazy. They also suggested the following work (which I agree and fully intend on getting done); transfer case fluid exchange, CV shaft & axel seal (due to ripped boot), and front and rear dif fluid exchange. If I was to get ALL said work done, I was looking at over $3000. Long story short, I got recommend a shop who deals with corporate fleets and they quoted less than HALF. I went to pick up my truck and paid $275 (after tax) for the “diagnostics” which was literally them clearing a code (for reference you can buy a code reader on Amazon for $50 to do that). I agreed to it prior so decided not to say anything. Learnt my lesson and never coming back here. Last time I was in I told them I needed my starter changed and they charged me that absurd diagnostic price AFTER telling them what needed to be done. lol Don’t let shops take advantage of you. Jake

Glenwood Auto is reliable and trustworthy. They really look out for the customer's best interest and offer amazing customer service. I have dealt with Anderson every time I've bee in and have nothing but positive things to say about the service I have received from him. The work is high-quality and completed in a reasonable time. Their complementary shuttle service makes using them a breeze. I highly recommend.

Drove from Manitoba to Sask to see family and had a shaky car the whole way. Brought it in and they balanced it, test drove it, and even topped up my oil. Their shuttle service was friendly as hell and after all was done they texted me a while later asking how the car was running. For the price I paid, most places wouldn't have done half of all of this. Definitely recommend these guys

Our most recent service from Glenwood reinforced our earlier perceptions of what could be expected from Rob and his staff. Perhaps the best way to describe Glenwood may be captured in a single word - Thorough! We took our truck in following a few months of frustration with tires which would not hold air pressure. Over a period of 10 days to 2 weeks the tires would lose air pressure, causing the alert system to indicate that pressure was insufficient. We came to the conclusion that the the problem was due to an issue with the valve stem cores, the valve stem seat or the fact that the tire bead was insecure. We left the truck with the request that these issues be resolved. When we were called with regard to the truck we were told that the tires needed to be replaced. Since the tires had only been in service for 24,000KM (with a manufacturer's warranty of 65,000 KM,) we rejected the notion that the problem was due to the fact that the tires had failed. We explored the matter further with Rob. He got a manufacture's representative involved and it was clear that there would be no redress from that quarter. We were given the explanation that the application of those products which restore the appearance of the tire ( those back to black substances such as Armor All, etc. which brighten the appearance of tire sidewalls) actually cause the tire material to dry out. This permits the creation of small fissures which permit very slow loss of air pressure from within the tire. Of course the solution to the problem is tire replacement something no one is excited to hear. Nevertheless Glenwood had done a thorough job of arriving at the problem. Accepting the conclusion was not pleasant, however, Rob was very helpful is offering a solution and making the cost of applying it very attractive. All-in-all it made the decision to involve Glenwood in the first place a wise one. We would recommend that others who wish to have their vehicles attended to by folks who are knowledgeable and thorough should have a good look at Glenwood.
