Thank you Rob and staff for the professional advice and mechanical service provided to get our 2003 Toyota Highlander back into first rate running condition. The years had taken a bit of a toll on the vehicle and there was perhaps some owner neglect!! The vehicle is important to our family. Thank you very much. Jim Lechner

If I could, I would give half a star. Took my truck in for diagnostic. Charged me $432 and all they did was tell me what I already know and changed my spark plug (singular). I even gave them the code for a lean bank. When I took it to another mechanic, he cleaned the injectors and the truck runs great. I highly recommend not going here. Honestly, brings a bad name to shopping local and supporting local business. Especially during a pandemic. Rob, thanks for calling me to follow up and getting me to consider changing my rating to a more honest one.

There were a number of issues going on with your vehicle Austin. I have copied and pasted the diagnostic story from my diagnostic technician. There was alo wiring to some of the coils that has been improperly repaired. No stored DTCs. Engine light was recently cleared. Engine is running rough at idle. Incrementing misfire on cylinder #2. Relative compression is OK. Ignition coil is not producing spark. Coil is an aftermarket - yellow (amazon?) Wiring to the coil is OK. Removed the spark plug and found it worn. Gap is aprox 0.060" spec is 0.050". Recommend replacing #2 ignition coil and spark; replacing all coils and plugs OR replacing all plugs and #2 ignition coil. After misfire is repaired we will road test for a possible lean concern the customer has mentioned along with overheating? Unable to road test with current misfire. Further time would be needed for diagnosing these problems. note: catalytic converter failure can result from ignition misfire Sorry you are upset Austin, but your truck does need a lot more than just a fuel system service, and that is a fact.

Looking through the numerous 5 star reviews I find myself wishing I had the same experience as others seem to have had. On March 8th of 2021 I found myself with a check engine light on my BMW 335i. Having just purchased the car I was interested in not only rectifying the problem but also preform any other required services. Calling in I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Rob who seemed very genuine in his concern for my situation. I was offered a rental vehicle during the time I would be without my car which I thought was quite convenient. Unfortunately, this is where the experience began to get rather frustrating. I must start but saying that this shop did not call me once during the entire time my vehicle was sitting in their parking lot. In order to get any type of information or update on my vehicle I was required to call myself, each and every time. Even then information was sparce, conflicting and confusing. These conflicting statements on repair needed was enough to make me doubt their services and retrieve my vehicle before they eventually got around to working on my car. My vehicle was at their shop from Monday until Thursday with me having little to no more information then I had bringing in the vehicle in originally. Picking up my car, I was greeted with the classic bait and switch mechanics are notorious for preforming on unsuspecting people. Was quoted $180 for a diagnostic, ended up being charged $415. When brought to their attention I was immediately combated with the classic "Oh you must have misunderstood" which obviously and simply is not true. I was quoted $180, I got charged $415 upon pick up, period. By this point I had absolutely no desire to fight with the owner and his staff and really just wanted to get my vehicle away from them as quickly as possible, so I stupidly paid the overcharge and left as quickly as I could. And to put the cherry on top, I get home only to realize they had forgotten to put my engine cover back on which lead to me needing to drive all the way back and wait for another 25 minutes in an awkward situation while their technician installed my engine cover. Also, I'm very curious as to how it takes 25 minutes to snap on an engine cover? I suspect something else was forgotten or done incorrectly which needed to be discretely fixed. Although I admit this is speculation. Overall, I had a very bad experience with Gleenwood which I actually and truly find perplexing because of the numerous positive reviews. I think this goes to show that Google reviews should be used ONLY as a tool and not something you completely depend on when making the decision as to where you go for repair. The old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" certainly applies but for all the wrong reasons in this case. But fear not as this story does have a happy ending. After my experience I was obviously quite upset. After talking to some friends in the BMW community they first scolded me for my choice of repair shop and then immediately put me in touch with Exeed Performance. After a good conversation with the manager I fell in much better hands and better still, I will end up paying HALF the costs of what I was quoted at Gleenwood. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope it helps you in your decision making process when it's time to service your vehicle. Tyler, I’m sorry you had a bad experience at our shop. We talked initially about doing the diagnostic on the check engine light and the symptoms you were experiencing. We spent a lot of time trying to duplicate the driveability symptoms you had explained were there at all times. These symptoms were never there for us, we could not duplicate them at all. We recommended a comprehensive inspection because you just purchased the car, and you agreed. We never were able to duplicate the driveability concern that you explained. We did make recommendations for you. Again I’m sorry you had a poor experience with us. Take care .
