If I could, I would give half a star. Took my truck in for diagnostic. Charged me $432 and all they did was tell me what I already know and changed my spark plug (singular). I even gave them the code for a lean bank. When I took it to another mechanic, he cleaned the injectors and the truck runs great. I highly recommend not going here. Honestly, brings a bad name to shopping local and supporting local business. Especially during a pandemic. Rob, thanks for calling me to follow up and getting me to consider changing my rating to a more honest one.
There were a number of issues going on with your vehicle Austin. I have copied and pasted the diagnostic story from my diagnostic technician. There was alo wiring to some of the coils that has been improperly repaired. No stored DTCs. Engine light was recently cleared. Engine is running rough at idle. Incrementing misfire on cylinder #2. Relative compression is OK. Ignition coil is not producing spark. Coil is an aftermarket - yellow (amazon?) Wiring to the coil is OK. Removed the spark plug and found it worn. Gap is aprox 0.060" spec is 0.050". Recommend replacing #2 ignition coil and spark; replacing all coils and plugs OR replacing all plugs and #2 ignition coil. After misfire is repaired we will road test for a possible lean concern the customer has mentioned along with overheating? Unable to road test with current misfire. Further time would be needed for diagnosing these problems. note: catalytic converter failure can result from ignition misfire Sorry you are upset Austin, but your truck does need a lot more than just a fuel system service, and that is a fact.
